As a community-centered, peer-led network, OPA+ has presented on our unique conmmunity-led proceeses to enhance the holistic health outcomes of Positive Asians at national and global HIV/AIDS cconfernces, including at the Canada Pavilion at the AIDS2016 Conference in Durban, South Africa, as well as program evaluation results at the 28th Annual Canadian Conference on HIV/AIDS Research on Treaty 6 Territory, the Homeland of the Métis.Saskatoon, Saskatechewan in 2019.
Caucus
The OPA+ Caucus is designed to bring together a culturally-safe space for Asians living with HIV to become connected with one another, to identify the issues and priorities that are most relevant for their well-being, and to promote the capacities and self-efficacy of Asians living with HIV as a group.
